Ria is an imaginative artist and driven storyteller who utilises her filmmaking practices to craft narratives that forge connections, often focusing on women-led or centric stories with a tasteful comedic touch. She infuses her unique observations into her editing and writing, delving beyond the presented artefacts to conjure new possibilities.

Currently based in London, Ria holds a Master’s in Film from the University of Arts London. She is also a member of BECTU and a mentee in its post-production mentorship scheme for 2024.

As a freelance editor, she has led post-production for short films, music videos, and commercial projects, focusing on drama, comedy, and emerging hip-hop artists in the UK.​
